Day 1 of my summer trip to Germany. I flew into Hamburg on the Sunday afternoon so just a couple of hours to potter about and get my bearings. Nice to see a couple of double headed IC services with pairs of 218s on, and also the rare sight of a freight through Hamburg Hbf, although it was a Sunday engineers train so not sure if that counts? I also popped down to Harburg just to see what it was like as I'd be spending quite alot of time there over the next couple of days. Had 3 freights in less than an hour which isn't bad for a Sunday. |
