Day 1 of my summer trip to Germany. I flew into Hamburg on the Sunday afternoon so just a couple of hours to potter about and get my bearings. Nice to see a couple of double headed IC services with pairs of 218s on, and also the rare sight of a freight through Hamburg Hbf, although it was a Sunday engineers train so not sure if that counts? I also popped down to Harburg just to see what it was like as I'd be spending quite alot of time there over the next couple of days. Had 3 freights in less than an hour which isn't bad for a Sunday.

Consecutively numbered DB diesels 218380 & 218381 arrive at Hamburg Hbf with the IC2171 sevice from Westerland. This service is double headed north of Hamburg, with a single class 101 taking over for the rest of the journey	"LDS" liveried 203127 passes through Hamburg Hbf with a Sunday afternoon ballast working	218381 & 218380 sit in the depot at Hamburg after hauling the IC2171 service from Westerland	"Metronom" 146537 stops at Hamburg Harburg with a Tostedt service
DB 101132 heads south through Hamburg Harburg with an IC service	101128 at the rear of a northbound IC service through Hamburg Harburg	"Metronom" 146531 arriving at Hamburg Harburg on the rear of a northbound service	DB 101042 departs Hamburg Harburg at the head of the IC2377 service to Karlsruhe
145036 in "Railion" livery heads south through Hamburg Harburg with a Sunday afternoon intermodal service	101115 leads the IC2315 service from Hamburg Harburg to Frankfurt	246002 at Hamburg Harburg on the rear of a "Metronom" service to Hamburg Hbf	DB 120201 having just arrived at Hamburg Hbf with an RE service
