258: Overseas, Germany, DB Museum Nürnberg, 28/08/09
28th August 2009

LAST UPDATED 24/10/09. CURRENTLY CONTAINS 19 PHOTOS.
As I was visiting the historic city of Nürnberg for the day I couldn't miss the chance to visit the DB museum. There's a huge amount of stuff on display here, although not actually that many locomotives (compared the the NRM at York for example), mainly due to the devastating fire in 2005 that destroyed many of the original exhibits. Nevertheless, a great way to spend a couple of hours, especially as it was a particularly hot day and the museum was nice and cool! It's not that good for photos as the locos themselves are very close together, and brush up on your German as there's no translations to English.
